1. Course Enrollment and Eligibility

1.1 Eligibility: Enrollment in our courses is generally open to individuals aged 18 and older. For any minors seeking enrollment, written consent from a parent or legal guardian is required.
1.2 Prerequisites: Some courses (e.g., the Advanced/Evening Batch) may have specific prerequisites (e.g., basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator). It is your responsibility to ensure you meet these requirements before enrolling.
1.3 Registration: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration and enrollment process.

2. Payment, Fees, and Refund Policy

2.1 Fees: Course fees are clearly stated on the website or provided during the enrollment process. Fees are payable in Indian Rupees (INR).
2.2 Payment Schedule: Full payment upon enrollment, or instalments. Enrollment is confirmed only upon successful receipt of the required payment.
2.3 Refund Policy :
* Cancellation by Student:
* If a student cancels enrollment first within 7 days of course start date, a full refund, will be issued.
* Withdrawal: Students who withdraw from the course after the 7 days of course start date for any reason are not eligible for a refund.
* Cancellation by Academy: Vastra Kala Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to low enrollment, instructor unavailability, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, enrolled students will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their enrollment to a future batch.
2.4 No Show: Failure to attend the course without prior notice will result in the forfeiture of all paid fees.

3. Intellectual Property and Course Content

3.1 Ownership: All content, materials, documentation, videos, lectures, exercises, and designs provided by Vastra Kala Academy (the “Course Content”) are the exclusive property of Vastra Kala Academy and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
3.2 Limited License: Upon enrollment, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Course Content solely for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
3.3 Restrictions: You agree not to copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, modify, or create derivative works from the Course Content without explicit written permission from Vastra Kala Academy.
3.4 Student Portfolio: You retain the intellectual property rights to the original designs you create during the course, but you grant Vastra Kala Academy a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your developed designs for promotional purposes, including showcasing them in the academy’s portfolio, website, and marketing materials.

4. Student Conduct and Use of Facilities

4.1 Conduct: Students are expected to maintain professional conduct, respect instructors and fellow students, and adhere to all academy rules and policies.
4.2 Factory Environment: Due to the hands-on training conducted within a working factory environment, students must strictly adhere to all safety guidelines and instructions provided by the instructors and factory personnel. Failure to comply with safety regulations may result in immediate dismissal from the course without refund. 4.3 Online Training: Students attending online sessions must ensure a stable internet connection and comply with any technical requirements specified by the academy.

5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

5.1 Accuracy of Content: While we strive to ensure the accuracy of the Course Content, we do not warrant its completeness or accuracy. The Course Content is provided for educational purposes only.
5.2 Limitation of Liability: Vastra Kala Academy, its instructors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your enrollment or use of the services, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5.3 No Guarantee of Employment: Vastra Kala Academy provides specialized skills training but does not guarantee employment or job placement upon course completion.

6. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

6.1 Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
6.2 Jurisdiction: Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Delhi, India.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Effective Date.” Your continued use of the website or enrollment in a course after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
