Refund Policy

Vastra Kala Academy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds are provided for course fees paid to Vastra Kala Academy. Enrollment in any course signifies that the student has read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy.

  1. Course Fee Payment

All course fees are due and payable as specified during the enrollment process. Enrollment is confirmed only upon successful receipt of the required fees (or first installment, if applicable).

  1. Cancellation by the Student

The eligibility for a refund and the amount refunded depends strictly on the timing of the written cancellation notice received by Vastra Kala Academy relative to the official course start date.

Notes on Cancellation:

  • Written Notice Required: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to sukhvinder@vastrakalaacademy.com with the subject line “Course Cancellation Request.” The date of the email receipt will determine the timing for refund calculation.
  • Administrative Fee: The administrative fee covers processing, material preparation, and slot reservation costs.
  1. Withdrawal After Course Commencement

Once a student attends the first session of the course, or if the official course start date has passed (whichever is earlier), the course is considered commenced.

  • Withdrawal for Any Reason: Students who withdraw or discontinue their enrollment after the course has commenced, for any personal, professional, or medical reason, are not eligible for any refund of the course fee.
  • Non-Attendance: Failure to attend the course sessions (“no show”) does not constitute a formal withdrawal or cancellation and will result in the forfeiture of all paid fees.
  1. Transfer of Enrollment

In lieu of a refund, students may be permitted to transfer their enrollment to a future, scheduled batch, subject to the following conditions:

  • The transfer request must be made in writing before the original course commencement date.
  • The transfer is subject to availability in the requested future batch.
  • Only one transfer request is permitted per enrollment.
  1. Course Cancellation or Rescheduling by Vastra Kala Academy

Vastra Kala Academy reserves the right to cancel or postpone any scheduled course due to insufficient enrollment, unforeseen circumstances, instructor illness, or reasons beyond our control.

  • In the event of cancellation or postponement, enrolled students will be notified promptly.
  • Students will be offered the choice of:
    • A Full Refund of the total course fee paid, OR
    • Transferring the enrollment and full fee amount to the next available scheduled batch.
  1. Refund Processing
  • All eligible refunds will be processed within 7 business days from the date of refund approval.
  • Refunds will be issued via the same payment method used for the original transaction (e.g., bank transfer to the original account).
